Do you need an extra incentive to get to the LWCC meeting on time? We have one for you! The monthly programs will now take place at the start of the meeting instead of the end. This month you can learn more about the Liberty Wells Historic District Nomination. If you missed the open house held by the Planning Division in January, mark your calendars for February 10!

Meeting Agenda – February 10, 2010 – 7:00 PM

Location: Salt Lake Community College’s South City Campus, Home of the Grand Theatre, at 1700 S State Street.
Enter through Southern doors of main building.

Parking: In Southwest lot, bike racks are available by the doors.

Bus: Routes 200 and 201 (State Street North and South bound), and 205 (500 East) all have late-evening hours. Check http://www.rideuta.com/ for more schedule information.

Program 1: Planning Division: Liberty Wells Historic District Nomination

If you missed the Planning Division’s Open House in January, please come tonight to learn more about our area’s nomination as a National Historic Area and what this could mean to you as a resident.

Program 2: Emergency Preparedness: Jim Fisher

LWCC has been working with Salt Lake, the American Red Cross and the LDS Wells Stake to develop a unified Emergency Preparedness Plan for the Liberty Wells area. Your participation in developing this plan would benefit the entire community in the case of an emergency. Come learn how you can participate.
